What do we sell..

Eggs are usually available from our own free range hens which you are likely to see wandering around the farm and camp site.

Lamb  is home reared on our herb rich meadows and pastures. The animals are traditionally farmed and butchered locally. Chops may be available for your barbeque or there are traditional joints available for you to take home.

Pork is available again to cook on site or take home.  We keep a variety of rare breed pigs and rear them in the traditional way.

Beef is rarebreed   Shorthorn, hung for a month. The steaks are excellent for the barbeque and again, joints can be taken home in your cool box.

Mutton  We produce a limited amount of mutton. These sheep are kept to about two and a half years and hung for two weeks. Mutton should be cooked more slowly than lamb but has a deeper rich flavour and superb texture.

Meat is only available to people who are camping on the farm.  Due to the seasonal nature of the produce various items will not be available at certain times so please ask.

Campers wishing to buy food to cook on site should give plenty of notice as the meat is usually frozen and must be properly defrosted.

Prices. Please see our brochure, available on site or enquire by telephone.
